تعريف الأفعال الناقصة Modal Verbs

 

هي افعال تأتي قبل الفعل الرئيسي, مثل الافعال المساعدة , ويكون الفعل بعدها مجرداً  , كما انها تأتي مع جميع الضمائر.

اما استخدامها فيعطي معنى عام للجملة وتكون كالتالي :

مهارة او القدرة :Can / Could

I can ride  a horse

He could fix the car

الإستطاعة و الإمكانية : Can / Could / May / Might

She may do that

He could pass the exam

I can run fast

We may solve the problem

تقديم نصيحة :   Ought to / Should

You should sleep early tonight

 She ought to visit the doctor soon

الطلب بسؤال : Can / Could / Will / would

?Can you help me, please

?Could you stay here

 أخذ الإذن : May / Can

?May I help you

?Can I drink a cup of tea

عمل عرض : Can / Would

?Can I help you

?Would you like to eat some rice

الإقتراحات : Shall /Could / Maight

We might stay here tonight

I could buy one for you

?Shall we visit Eygpt

الضرورة و الاحتمالية: Ought to / Must

We must win the game

He ought to be teacher in this school

عادة في الماضي : Used to

I used to smoke five year ago 

التوكيد والضرورة و الحاجة : Have to

I have to take my midicin everyday

تكوين الافعال الناقصة Modal verbs:

* ملاحظة : دائما الفعل يأتي بعد الفعل الناقصModal Verb مجرد .

* ملاحظة : يكون نفي الفعل الناقصModal Verb بإضافة not  نهاية الفعل الناقص,

مثل :can not(can't) / must not(mustn't) / should not(shouldn't).

حالة الإثبات:

Subject +modal verbs + vreb 1 + object

He can play football

حالة السؤال:

?Modal verbs + Subject + verb 1 + object

?Can you play football

Yes , I can    /   No, I can't

تركيب الافعال الناقصةModal Verbs بسيط جدا , وما يهم المتعلم هو معرفة المهام الخاصة بكل واحدة , فحين الطلب ماذا يستخدم , وحين الإقتراح ماذا يستخدم .
